n a 2019 conversation with Interview magazine, Pitt openly discussed his battle with alcoholism, labeling his dependence on drinking as a "disservice" and a means of "escape." Following his 2016 separation from Angelina Jolie, Pitt dedicated a year and a half to Alcoholics Anonymous and has successfully maintained sobriety ever since.
